Open Letter to President Obama

Postby pechuna on Mon May 18, 2009 9:05 am

My morning email contained this letter:

The author, Lou Pritchett is a well-known public speaker who retired
after a successful 36-year career as the VP World Sales for Proctor
and Gamble.

AN OPEN LETTER TO OBAMA (not "my" president)

Dear President Obama:

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike
any of the others, you truly scare me.

You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy
League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no
visible signs of support..

You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth
growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

You scare me because you have never had military experience, thus
don't understand it at its core.

You scare me because you lack humility and 'class', always blaming others.

You scare me because for over half your life you have aligned yourself
with radical extremists who hate America and you refuse to publicly
denounce these radicals who wish to see America fail.

You scare me because you are a cheerleader for the 'blame America'
crowd and deliver this message abroad.

You scare me because you want to change America to a European style
country where the government sector dominates instead of the private
sector.

You scare me because you want to replace our health care system with a
government controlled one.

You scare me because you prefer 'wind mills' to responsibly
capitalizing on our own vast oil, coal and shale reserves.

You scare me because you want to kill the American capitalist goose
that lays the golden egg which provides the highest standard of living
in the world.

You scare me because you have begun to use 'extortion' tactics against
certain banks and corporations.

You scare me because your own political party shrinks from challenging
you on your wild and irresponsible spending proposals.

You scare me because you will not openly listen to or even consider
opposing points of view from intelligent people.

You scare me because you falsely believe that you are both omnipotent
and omniscient.

You scare me because the media gives you a free pass on everything you do.

You scare me because you demonize and want to silence the Limbaughs,
Hannitys, O'Reillys and Becks who offer opposing, conservative points
of view.

You scare me because you prefer controlling over governing.

Finally, you scare me because if you serve a second term I will
probably not feel safe in writing a similar letter in 8 years.

Well, while the subject of 'open letters' is here this is one you really should read, written by someone that we don't have to google to know who the hell he is.

SO much to pick apart...start with since when did military experience or lack of preclude serving as president? You don't know how to kill people in order to be president, you don't need to know how to kill people to be a diplomat

The whole big brush socialism and freedom stealing is awfully rich coming from the people who would have gleefully turned in their own neighbors to big brother when Bush asked them to. It's absolutely ridiculous the right keeps throwing poo in the hopes that something will stick when what they should be doing is trying to figure out where they went so wrong

If military experience had anything to do with it, how did Bush serve as president?
Neither he nor Cheney served in the military.......well, Bush did serve, until that trip to the dentist's chair. No other records exist to show he fulfilled his military obligation.

True. and one doesn't need to have "run a company or met a payroll." And persoanlly, I like it that Obama has experience with other cultures. I consider that a definite plus. And Obama does not want to replace our health care system with a government run one. This idiot gets all of his news from Fox, no doubt.

Dear Lou,

You know he eats Grey Poupon on his medium well burgers.

You also seem to know he isn't a valid citizen of the US, is a Muslim, that he's a Socialist!, is best friends with Hugo Chavez and that he plans to destroy the economy as an excuse to enact forced reparations through welfare and food stamp payments because he hates white people. Those are the things you are certain about.

I see no point in telling you anything different, because you already hate his guts. I hope you spend the next four years being as miserable as we were for the last eight. :hello2:
